Kickoff time for the Saturday, Sept. 13 football game between Northwestern State and Grambling at Turpin Stadium in Natchitoches has been moved up to 2 p.m., four hours earlier than the 6 o’clock start time initially announced.

The afternoon kickoff will accommodate the Grambling band, which has been invited to perform the next day at a home game of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars.

The game will still be televised on the regional SLCTV network serving much of Louisiana through affiliates in Shreveport, Alexandria, Lake Charles and Baton Rouge, along with Texas affiliates including Houston and the Longview-Marshall area blanketing east Texas.
