LADY JAGS DROP FIRST ROAD CONTEST
Baton Rouge, LA–The Southern University women’s soccer team fell to the University of Tulsa 10-0 in Natchitoches, Louisiana today.
Senior Kendall Smith recorded 11 saves but gave up 10 goals to drop her second game at goal as a Lady Jaguar. The Blue and Gold’s offense did not help the cause as they ended the game with three shot attempts.
“Tulsa was a very strong team,” Knighten said. “We will take this experience and learn from it.”
Southern returns to action on Sunday, August 31st when the Lady Bulldogs of Alabama A&M University visit “the bluff”. The game will be played at A. W. Mumford stadium and is set for 3:00 pm.
