Starkville, Miss.— The Mississippi Valley State Devilettes soccer team suffered a, 3-0, loss today to the Lady Bulldogs of MississippiState before an announced crowd of 673, the third largest in Lady Bulldogs history, on the MSU campus.

The Devilettes held the home team scoreless throughout most of the first half before giving up back to back goals at the14:54 (Tarah Henderson) and 14:33 (Leanna Baldner by Lauren Morgan) marks of the period. The Lady Bulldogs would add another goal at 21:55 by Tracy Turnipseed to round out the scoring.

The Devilettes would only record two shot attempts, one Kate Johnston and Jency Jose. Goalkeeper Jordan Thomas had 10 saves.

The Devilettes will return to action Sunday August 23rd when they host their home opener against CentenaryCollege at 1 p.m. at the Soccer Complex on the MVSU campus.
