Lady Tigers Soccer falls 5-0 to Crimson Tide in Exhibition
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Jackson State women’s soccer team fell 5-0 to the University of Alabama Crimson Tide in an exhibition game at the Alabama Soccer Complex Saturday evening.
Victoria Frederick led Alabama with three goals and an assist and Kara Gudmens and Karen Lansden combined for the shut out.
Alabama scored four goals in the first half and found the net once again in the second. The Crimson Tide out-shot Jackson State 27-2. Rochelle Moncrieffe and Tiffany Del Bango got off JSU’s only two shot attempts, with both coming in the second fame of play.
JSU will play its second exhibition game of the season on Aug. 19 when the lady Tigers face Northwestern State University at the Demon Complex at 4 p.m.
