WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Howard softball
team has announced that its alumni game will be held on
Friday, October 17. The event begins at 3 p.m. at Banneker
Stadium.

“This alumni game is the something we have wanted to do for a
few years,” Head Coach Tonja Braxton said. ”We decided
that we would play the game in the fall vs. the spring, that way
our alumni players can enjoy a good old Howard Homecoming. The team
has come a long way in seven years, and we want to share this
with those players that helped us get started.” 

All are invited to bring photographs, newspaper clippings or
other Howard related items to be scanned as the sports
information office looks to increase its collection of
historical items.
