HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University women’s golf team released its schedule for the fall 2008 season on Tuesday. The season tees off Sept. 19-21 in Sunest Beach, N.C.
The Lady Pirates will compete in the Sea Trail Intercollegiate Gold Tournament over that weekend, playing the Byrd Course. Hampton will also take part in the 2008 Rutgers University tournament in Piscataway, N.J. Oct. 9-11.
Hampton will wrap up the fall schedule Nov. 9-11 in Savannah, Ga. with the Savannah State Invitational.
Coach Reggie Mitchell says one more tournament will be added to the fall schedule, to be announced at a later date. The spring season will also be released in the near future.
