Jackson States Paul Covington Inducted into the Mississippi…
JACKSON, Miss. - Jackson State’s Coach Paul Covington has yet another accolade to add to his long list of career achievements, 2008 inductee into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. The winningest coach in JSU history posted a career record of 338-195 in 25 years.
The 46th Annual BancorpSouth Mississippi sports Hall of fame Induction Banquet highlights a full weekend of activities starting Friday evening. On Saturday morning August 2, the Museum will host a greet and meet with the inductees from 9:30-11am. Saturday night at 7pm features the Drawdown of Champions and Auction at the Museum.
The inductees in the Class of 2008 include Coolidge Ball, Will Clark, Reggie Collier, Hill Denson and Jennifer Gillom.
