Howard Releases 2008 Volleyball Schedule
WASHINGTON, D.C. -
Howard has released its volleyball schedule for the 2008 campaign
and it features 11 home contests and five tournaments.
The Lady Bison will
travel to Greenville, N.C., for its first tournament of the year
Aug. 29-30. Howard opens tourney play with Elon
on Aug. 29 at 4:30 p.m. before playing host East
Carolina on Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. The team wraps up play at
the ECU Pirate Classic when it faces East Tennesse State
on Aug. 30 at 5 p.m.
HU hosts UMBC in its home opener on Sept. 2 before
heading to Charlotte, N.C. for the UNC Charlotte tournament on
Sept. 5-6.
A home match against Coppin State on Oct. 3 marks the
beginning of MEAC play for the Bison.
The team is at Burr for its last series of the season
when it plays Maryland Eastern Shore on Nov. 2 and
concludes the regular season on Nov. 8 versus La Salle.
