Jackson State to Serve as Site for NABF Tournament
JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State University Baseball Complex will serve as the National Amateur Baseball Federation 2008 Senior Division World Series site from July 31-August 2.
The National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) was established in 1914 at an organizational meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the oldest continually operated national baseball organization in the country.
The NABF hosts over 50 regional tournaments, plus eight national championship tournaments, throughout the year. The federation sponsors eight different class groups ranging from 10 years and older. The Jackson State site will serve as the Senior Division World Series site which include ages 18 years and younger.
